Pray for my Sister

http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=12073652&hl=4

She hasn't come out of it yet.

Update - Just got back from the hospital. At about 9:00 she woke up and seems fine. She doesn't seem to have any brain damage that we know of. She has some broken bones in her face, lots of stitches, broken ankle, and broken leg. Really, she looks great for what she's been through. Sadly the guy she was with is in really critical condition and they don't think he'll make it. So Sad : ( My sister has no idea how lucky she is at this point.

The driver of the cab ran a red light and hit the scooter.

More:
Last night they said she didn't have a broken leg or ankle (they can't make up their minds). She has several face fractures around her eye sockets and a broken nose, a puncture wound in her foot, and a really sprained ankle. The guy she was riding with has passed away. His parents decided to donate his organs and Saturday they took him off life support. It has been so sad. Please pray for his family and friends. My sister will be released on Tuesday (she's hoping). It'll take a while but she's expected to make a full recovery.

I told her last night (Monday) that she must have some special mission to accomplish because she obviously had angles protecting her. It's amazing that she came out of this without any permanent damage.

Thanks for your prayers : )

It's Sarah. The guy she was with had no brain activity so his parents made the decision to donate his organs last night. They finally told my sister that he didn't make it. It was really hard. I think she finally realized the severity of the accident after she heard about him. Before she was talking about how she wanted to go home and that she was too busy to stay. She asked how her face looked.

She's pretty sore and has stitches in several places. Luckily the front of her face looks really good. The sides are bruised and scratched up but nothing that won't heal with time. Her ankle and legs are sore and she is in a lot of pain.

Oh dear, Mary. I had no idea. I'm sorry to have been oblivious when we were chatting on Sunday. So sad about the guy she was riding with. Very tough situation.

I'm pleased your sister will heal up. That's pretty miraculous.
