Parties and fun!

This was a busy week full of fun, fun, fun! One Monday we carved pumpkins. On Tuesday we went to a live theater play at the local theater put on for kids. Friday was a homeschool skating party (I forgot my camera)....and Savannah and Matthew had parties on the weekend.

The pumpkin slim zombie

Justin had lots of fun with that knife. He was mad that I took away the large sharp knife.

Ya, Brady had to get gross

A bat!

Brady painted a pumpkin

Savy wanted to go back closer to her original color.........

So cute!

She's noticing there is a stigma with blond hair. People treat her differently now. Some People automatically figured she was stupid and shallow with blond hair. It's really kind of sad. I remember it though. It stopped when I became older but it was relentless when I was a teen. Savannah is a very intelligent, has good morals, and confident young lady and I hope people can realize that with or without blond hair.

Who did it?

We just don't get sleep around here. We try everything and found out it's pretty much impossible. Between the toddler and teens I may as well give up. Finally (last night), at about one, and after threatening the teenagers, I went into my bed. Justin was in no hurry to go to sleep, and I could hear Matthew and Savannah "getting ready for bed" (ha). Justin was talking my ear off while I was drifting off. I guess we both finally fell asleep because I was abruptly woken up, from a blissful sleep, by the sound of a door bell in the distance. When I finally came to, I realized someone had rang the door bell. It was 2:15. All sorts of scenarios ran through my head. No one knocks on people's doors at 2:00am unless they have a good reason. I snuck down the hall and peeked around the corner to see if I could get a glimpse of the person. Then I saw it. Someone had toilet papered our house and they did a good job! I checked on all the kids and they where all snuggled up in bed off in lala land. This made history, we have never been toilet papered. In the morning we cleaned up and narrowed it down to just a few people and one very suspicious person. So don't turn your back, we are on it... and you never know when we will strike back.

Tanner earned his wolf

Tanner earned his wolf this week! He worked hard and earned it in 5 months. He would bring the book to me all the time saying he wanted to work on it.

Good job Tanner, I'm so proud of you!

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!

This is the last of the three post this time around.

Savannah had the awesome opportunity to be in the play at her school. She was a narrator and did an absolutely wonderful job!! Her voice is really maturing and sounds really really good. So many people came up to me and complimented her on her voice. I think they were surprised at just how good she is : )

Savy, we are so proud of you and the beautiful young lady you are becoming. you're not only beautiful on the outside but beautiful on the inside. I'm amazed at what a good friend you are to others. Keep up the good work! You have some amazing work to accomplish with that beautiful voice Heavenly Father has blessed you with.

Many good friends, family, and neighbors came out to support Savannah. I just want you to all to know how much that means to her. THANKS for being there for her!

My next door neighbors (love them) brought her this HUGE white beautiful bouquet! It made ours look tiny in comparison!

The flower holders!

Afterward they went to one of the girl's houses for ice cream.
We Loved the play!! Everyone did a fantastic job!

Hee Haws

This week I took the younger boys to Hee Haws for a school field trip. It's really weird only having the three younger kids homeschooling. We had a nice time.

There was a lot of fun stuff to do.

A big slide!

A petting zoo

A corn box! The was the favorite activity.

Different cars to drive around.
