Trafalga! catch up

This year we got family passes to Trafalga and Seven Peeks. I have forgotten my camera most of the time so I don't have a lot of pictures. We've been having a lot of fun family night activities! We have our spiritual lesson on Sunday and our family activity on Monday. One night wasn't enough for both.

This is about the only activity that Justin can do other then golfing.

So when we go Justin rides this about 20 times : )

Tanner got to go to two day camps this year. I was able to go to one with him. He loved it!

Welcome to scouts - catch up

Tanner is a cub scout! He earned his bobcat at the first pack meeting.

To welcome him into scouts they held him upside down and put a pin on him. For him to turn the pin the right way he had to do a good turn.

They also branded him with a flour stamp : )

I get to be in scouts with Tanner and it has been tons of fun!

ZOO! catch up

We had to catch the zoo one more time before our pass expired. Savannah was in school. Matthew was able to join us though.

They have these new dinosaurs around the park that spray water and roar.

The bird show at the zoo is really good. probably the best I've seen.

This gorilla was really interested in Justin and kept following him where ever he went.

Wizard of OZ - catch up

At the end of April we put on The Wizard of OZ! I directed this play with a group of Homeschooled kids. Matthew wrote all the music, lyrics and all. He also played live music during the performances. The kids did an awesome job!

loved it in the end.

Tanner's Baptism - catch up

Tanner got baptized on June 3rd. It was a pretty neat experience. Matthew had the opportunity to baptize Tanner. We also had a luncheon afterward with friends and family.

Tanner didn't want me to take pictures so he was a little grumpy at first.

But we got a smile after a while.

Tanner was able to be baptized on the same day of one of his best buddies.

This was a big year for firsts for Tanner!

PG Talent Show - catch up

Matthew entered the talent show at Pleasant Grove High School. He was just doing it for fun and wasn't expecting to place at all. He ended up winning first place! His friend Kelly (below) got second place. Kelly home schooled part of the time too.

Matthew composed a piano medley of a bunch of popular songs that the kids all love. They were screaming and singing when he played. It was really good!

Tanner First Pinewood Derby - catch up

Tanner loved his first pinewood derby!! He decided to make his car a tank. He worked hard and, with a few new improvements, he won second place! Great job Tanner!

Tanner's 8th Birthday! - catch up

Tanner turned 8 in May!!

I can't believe Tanner is eight!

He got two male gerbils, so we thought until a couple months later when they had babies : )

He also got bike.

For breakfast he chose french toast and berries.

Then off we went to Chuck E. Cheeses for games, rides, and pizza.

Tanner wanted cookies and ice cream for his treat.

Then he finished opening some of his presents. We had a really fun day! Happy birthday to my sweet Tanner. You are such a sweet boy and I'm proud of you : ) I love you tons!
